Privacy Policy

1. Data protection at a glance

Protecting your personal data is important to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TDDDG). This website is hosted on our own servers in the European Union. Via a consent banner you can decide whether analytics and, where applicable, advertising services (Google Tag Manager) may be loaded; without your consent no data is transmitted to third parties. Fonts are loaded locally from our own servers; no data is transmitted to third parties (e.g. Google Fonts).

2. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

DIP Dev Development of Digital Innovative Products by Dmytro Prylutskyi Dorfstraße 6, 85447 Grucking, Germany Phone: +49 15679 817895 Email: info@dipdev.de

3. Data collection when visiting the website

3.1 Server log files

The server on which this website is operated automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits. These are:

  • IP address of the requesting computer (shortened)
  • Date and time of the request
  • page/file requested and amount of data transferred
  • browser type and version, operating system
  • referrer URL (previously visited page)

The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website. Log data is deleted after at most 14 days, unless it is required to defend against or investigate attacks.

3.2 Cookies

This website sets a technically necessary cookie to store your cookie consent (gewerber_consent). This cookie is required for the consent management and is set on the basis of § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG or our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). It contains only your selection (version, analytics, marketing) and is deleted after one year.

Only if you agree in the consent banner are additional cookies for analytics and, where applicable, advertising purposes set via Google Tag Manager (see 3.4).

3.3 Fonts

This website uses self-hosted fonts (Inter, Roboto Mono) that are loaded from our own server together with the website. Your IP address is not transmitted to third parties (e.g. Google).

3.4 Google Tag Manager and analytics and advertising services

We use Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to include analytics and, where applicable, advertising services on this website. Tag Manager loads these services only after your consent via the consent banner (category "Analytics" and/or "Marketing"). As accordingly configured, Tag Manager is an administrative tool that does not process personal data. It is embedded on all pages, but without your consent it does not transmit any data to Google; only after your consent do the embedded services send data for evaluation.

Via Tag Manager we in particular load Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics uses cookies to create pseudonymised usage statistics (e.g. pages visited, time spent, approximate location derived from the shortened IP address). This data is used to analyse and improve our offering.

In the future, advertising services (e.g. Google Ads) may also be integrated via Tag Manager, to show you relevant advertising and to measure the success of advertising campaigns.

The processing is based exclusively on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of the website. Data may be transferred to Google servers, also to third countries, in particular the USA. Google is certified for processing in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For services provided by Google, Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) applies supplementarily.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, the details you provide (email address, possibly your name and the content of the message) are processed to handle your request in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We will not pass this data on without your consent. It is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Waitlist / beta registration

On our website you can join a waitlist to be notified about the launch of Gewerber and the availability of the beta. We collect your email address and optional information about the origin of your visit (e.g. campaign parameters). The legal basis is your consent according to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR; you can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future (e.g. by email to info@dipdev.de). The data is used exclusively to notify you about the product launch – not for advertising – and is deleted as soon as the purpose no longer applies or you withdraw your consent. To defend against abuse (spam) we also use a hidden form field (honeypot).

6. Registration and account (Gewerber app)

Using the Gewerber app at app.gewerber.de requires an account. In doing so we process the data provided during registration (email address, password) as well as the content you create in the app (e.g. invoices, time-tracking data) solely to provide the service in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. The privacy policy inside the app applies supplementarily.

6.1 Mobile app (Google Play)

The Gewerber app is also available as an Android app in the Play Store. There we process the same data as in the web app: your email address for account and sign-in, internal user IDs, and documents/receipts that you upload yourself. Transmission is TLS-encrypted; storage takes place on servers within the European Union. The app does not integrate any analytics or advertising services.

You can delete your account and your data at any time – directly in the app (Settings → Account → "Delete account") or via the delete account page.

7. Your rights

Within the scope of the applicable laws you have the right at any time to:

  • access your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • withdrawal of consent you have given (Art. 7 (3) GDPR) – withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before. You can change your consent e.g. via "Cookie settings" in the footer of the website.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

8. SSL / TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by “https://” in the address line and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

9. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services. The version published on this page applies in each case.
